Mui Ne Beach is located in Binh Thuan, a province in South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is about 222km from Ho chi Minh City and 22 km from Phan Thiet central. Mui Ne is well known for unique white sand dunes featuring several lakes and even swamps straight in the middle of sandy terrain. It is among the most beautiful natural beaches, spanning 15 kilometres of sandy beaches that are lined with an array of dining and shopping venues as well as luxurious beachfront resorts.

As it is not too far, travelers have various transportation options such as sleeper buses, Limousine bus, private van, trains, or motorbikes depending on their preferences and budgets. From Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne takes around 3 hours to 5 hours, depending on the means of transportation taken.
*** 1. By private van
If you rent a private van. The driver will take you follow National Road 1A through Binh Thuan Province. Then, turn left to reach the Suoi Cat Intersection and enter Phan Thiet City. From there, continue along Provincial Road 706 to get to Mui Ne. The distance is around 209 kilometers, and plenty of gas stations are available along this route. The will take about 3 to 4 hours,
*** 2. By Train
If you prefer to take a train. You will depart from Saigon Railway Station. The railway route from Saigon to Phan Thiet spans approximately 185 kilometers. It takes around 4 hours. Then from Phan Thiet Railways station, you take a take taxi to Mui Ne (10km).
*** 3. By limousine bus
Limousine bus is the best choice for travelers who prefer to enjoy a quite ride. Limousine buses are high-end vehicles with luxurious interiors, comfortable seating, and excellent service. Travellers can select their desired seats. The prices are reasonable and time is around 3hours.

If you prefer to experience local bus. This bus depart from Mien Dong Bus station in Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne. There are many bus companies with flexible schedules for you choose. This bus will drop you off at your hotel in Mui Ne. It takes about 5 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne. It stop several time along the way to pick up passengers.

From Ho Chi Minh City, make your way through Binh Lau and La Gi before reaching Mui Ke Ga. Enter Binh Thuan Province and continue toward the city center of Phan Thiet. This route is quite long, approximately 242 kilometers. However, it is generally beautiful, scenic, and easy to drive.

2 Red Sand Dunes

Visiting Sand Dunes you can take gorgeous snapshots and enjoy an array of activities. The features reddish-brown sand that makes them a more popular place for photography. 3. White Sand Dunes
White Sand Dunes is located 26km northeast of Mui Ne Beach. They are by far the larger dunes and are known by locals as Bau Trang or White Lake. There are quite a few small stands selling food and drinks to visitors within the area along with pine trees offering much-needed shade. The best time to visit is early in the morning or late afternoon as the sand can get very hot during the day.
4. Mui Ne Fishing Village
Mui Ne Fishing Village is located in the northern end of Mui Ne Bay. It is a great place to witness local life and enjoy fresh seafood during your holiday in Mui Ne. Fishing village offers a splendid view of an expansive coastline lined with swaying palm trees and colorful fishing boats moored on the water.
The best time to visit Mui Ne Fishing Village is in early in the morning or late afternoon. Visiting harbor is the early morning that’s when the fisherman return from sea with their massive haul of live crabs, scallops, groupers, and stingrays. There’s a small inhabited site that’s covered by colourful seashells that have washed up on the beach over the years.

5. Fairy Stream in Phan Thiet
Fairy Stream is located 18 km northeast of Phan Thiet City. This geological formation is actually a water fissure nearby Rom Island that’s flanked by a mix of white and red sand dunes on one side while the other is an expansive field of verdant trees, blossoming flowers, and coconut palms. Visit Fairy Stream, the visitor can take off their shoes and wade through the water. The stream is about ankle-deep for the most part and doesn’t get past your knees at its deepest.
Adventurous visitors can also climb to the top of the sand dunes and pitted rock formations, both of which offer breathtaking views of red-hued waters and intricate stalagmites.
