07:30 am: The guide pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cai Be by car, stopping to take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, set off by motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.
Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Enjoy a lunch of fresh river food served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden. Then check in hotel. Free time.

Breakfast at your hotel, take a local boats to Vinh Long island located in the center of the Delta. Called the “Majestic Dragon” it is home to vast orange and tangerine plantations. Then take a car to Sa Dec, enjoy a panoramic tour of Sa Dec including a visit to a Bonsai Seedbed and the lush gardens and fruit orchards of a local family and Kien An Cung Pagoda before having lunch in the former house of Huynh Thuy Le who is the main character in Marguerite Dura’s novel. Arrival at Chau Doc, your sightseeing will begin with a visit to the village of the local minority Cham community, then transfer to the top of Sam Mountain, a popular pilgrimage site, where you will enjoy sweeping views of the countryside as the sun sets.

After breakfast , 8.00am we depart to Tra Su – take a boat trip into the forest, you will immediately feel like you are harmonising with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed comfortable. From the observation post, you can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones. Have lunch in forest, relax on hammock or experience monkey bridge…Return to land for the drive to Can Tho stopping en route to visit the bamboo basket-making hamlet of Long Thanh. Arrive in Can Tho, check in hotel, free time.

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Răng floating market which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. On the way back to HCM city by car the last stop is to see how incense sticks are made. Drop you off at your hotel. Your journey with The Time Journeys is now complete…
