Pù Luông Nature Reserve

Pu Luong means the highest peak of the village, in Thai language. Pù Luông Nature Reserve is located in Northern of Vietnam. It is 160 km from Hanoi. Driving to south – west to Quan Hoa, Ba Thuoc Districts of Thanh Hoa Province. It takes around 4 hours by car.

Pù Luông Nature Reserve is bordered by Mai Chau in the North to West to Cuc Phuong National Park in the South East. This place is the nest of ethnic Thai and Muong people. And It is famous by limestone landscape, culture interest. It is blessed with rich forest, limestone panoramas, magnificent rice terraces and breathtaking scenery.

*** When is the best time for visiting Pu luong.

It is the best time for visiting Puluong: from September to November or February to May. During this time is harvest season, you will have opportunity to experience rice paddy fields in yellow.
