Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing immigration and customs, meet with your guide with a welcome signboard marked “The Time Journeys’s LOGO & your name”. Then your tour guide will transfer to your hotel in centre. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore city.

After having breakfast at your hotel. The local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to visit Wat Sisaket with its thousands of statues of the Buddha. The official count is 6840. The Emerald Buddha, now found in Bangkok’s Wat Prakeow, used to be housed in Wat Prakeo and it is here along with Wat Simuang that we will visit next.
The wonderful Golden stupa of That Luang is your next port of call. From there you will go to see The Triumphal Arch of Patuxai, constructed from concrete that was originally intended for the airport. It is known locally as The Vertical Runway. After that, bring you back to your hotel. Free time in evening.

After having breakfast at your hotel. The local guide pick you up and takes you by road to Nam Ngum Lake. On the way we will escort you to Ban Bor village to see the cottage salt factory. You then travel on to the spectacularly beautiful lake which contains many small islands. The local Fishermen catch their produce daily and serve it at the lakeside restaurants. After enjoyed your lunch, continue to Vang Vieng. Arrive in Vang Vieng, check in hotel and free time for relaxing.

After breakfast, the guide pick you up and visit Jang cave, where local hid inside during the Indochina war, we then cross Song river to Blue Lagoon cave, where you can enjoy swimming, trekking around.
Afternoon, you will enjoy a boat trip along Song River to see the stunning view of the town and local lives. The rest of the day is free and relax on your own.

Today, after breakfast. We continue to Xieng Khuang about 6hour drive. This area was heavily bombed by American forces between 1964 and 1973. Your Laos tour guide will take you to your hotel where you will be able to relax and spend the night in Xiengkhouang.

After your breakfast at your hotel your, you will visit the famous Plain Of Jars. Xiangkhouang Province covers an area of 15,880 square kilometers (6,130 sq mi) and is largely mountainous. The Plain of Jars is a large area extending around Phonsavanh. Here enormous jars of unknown origin are scattered everywhere. They are carved from solid rock, some from molasses, which is like sandstone, but some from granite. Although many have been removed over the years there are still several hundred remaining.
Later in the afternoon we will visit the old capital of Muang Khoun and its nearby villages. The Hmong hill-tribe and the Tai Dam people have colourful customs and history. Then transfer you to hotel. Stay overnight stay in Phonsavanh.

After having breakfast, you will visit the Central Market of Phonsavanh. Here the local hill-tribes gather to barter and exchange their merchandise. Leaving here we make the 306 km journey to Luang Prabang. On the way we will stop and visit the site at Thampra. Here the Buddha images date back about 200 years. We will also visit various hill-tribe villages along the route. We will take a short coffee break at Sala Phoukhoun. This is where the provinces of Vientiane, Xiengkhouang and Luang Prabang meet. Continue on to the trip, you will arrive at Luang Prabang city. This city is extremely beautiful and culturally important. Check in hotel and free time for relaxing.

For early risers: Early morning, participate in giving food to hundreds saffron robed monks passing by with the alms bowl. The Buddhist monks carry for their collection of food as they walk around the village nearby only one time a day, early morning. It’s a belief that in order to give people to gain merit, before starting their daily life, normally people will have to go to Buddhist temple, but in this case it’s to give people opportunity to do at home, it is not the way of begging as they never ask for any food or wait for those who are late for giving alms in the morning. (With the Morning Alms Giving, if you do not wish to make an offering, please keep an appropriate distance and observe the ritual in silence. Dress appropriately, shoulder, chest and legs should be covered)
After breakfast you will see Wat Visoun with its impressive stupa and the shrine of Wat Aham. At Wat Xieng Thong we will show you the famous “Tree Of Life” mosaic. The architecture here is typical of the Luang Prabang style with its low sweeping rooftops. Next you will walk up the 355 steps to the summit of Mount Phousi.
At the half way point you will see the Wat Tham Phousi shrine and at the summit you will visit the gilded stupa. Your Laos trip affords spectacular views of the city and The Mekong River. After descending, you will be taken to visit Hmong Market affording plenty of opportunities for purchasing souvenirs. Your first full day in Luang Prabang ends with an overnight stay at your hotel.

The guide will pick you up after you have breakfast at your hotel. Then driver shortly afterward (30km) to the magnificent Kuang Sii Falls. You will have free time to relax or swim in the beautiful warm waters. If you wish you may make the easy trek up to the top of the falls.
After returning we will go to the Black Hmong Village. Here the hill tribe people live an extremely traditional lifestyle. Handmade souvenirs can be bought and following this visit we will return you to your hotel. Free time for relaxing or shopping.

Today you will visit Pak Ou Cave. You will take a boat on The Mekong River to enjoy a cruise through magnificent countryside to the famous Pak Ou Caves. On the way we will take you to visit Ban Xanghai village. This is well known for its distillation of the local rice wine. We then travel on to the Pak Ou Caves. Crammed full of golden lacquered statues of the Buddha, they make a spectacular sight.
On the return journey we will escort you on a short drive to Ban Zang Khong. Here local people expertly hand weave delightful silk materials. At the end of day, return to your hotel for relaxing.
