Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing immigration and customs, meet with your guide with a welcome signboard marked “The Time Journeys’s LOGO & your name”. Then your tour guide will transfer to your hotel in centre. The rest of the day, you will visit The National Museum, the impressive stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of Wat Mai are all close by and wonderful examples of the historic past of Laos. In the middle of town the hill that is known as Mount Phousi rises 150 metres about the city. We will climb up the 355 steps to the summit for wonderful views of the city and the nearby Mekong River. On the way you will get to see the gilded stupa and other historical monuments. Later in the evening we will vist the ubiquitous Night Market where many different fabrics and handicrafts are on sale. The first day of your Laos trip ends with an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel. The guide will pick you up and transfer you to take a boat trip on the Mekong River where you will admire the surrounding countryside is both tranquil and picturesque. You will take you to visit the village of Ban Xanghai. This village is famous for its distilled local rice wine. You will arrive at the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These are packed full of golden lacquered statues of the Buddha. On the return journey you will take a short drive to Ban ZangKhong where you will experience the local people hand weave exquisite silk materials. After that, transfer you back to your hotel. Free in the evening.

After having breakfast, we drive to Living Land Lao Organic farm at Pung Van village. Upon arrival, your guide and the representative of the farm briefs about the historical and activity of the farm. You will attending a half day of rice experience including growing ride until stream ride. You also have time to visit the Organic products after rice experience. Afternoon, transfer you out of town 30KM to the beautiful KuangSii Fall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. At the end of day, transfer you back to your hotel. Free time.

Today, you will transfer from Luang Prabang to Xieng Khouang (around 6hours). XiengKhuoang is between 1964 and 1973 this whole area was devastated by American bombing and is the most bombed area per capita in the world. There are many stunning photo opportunities along the way and a couple of stops to explore hill tribe villages. After check in at your hotel in Phonsavan, you will be time to go for a wonder through town, visit the MAG Centre or chill out over a drink at the hotel. Free time.

After breakfast at your hotel, the guide will pick you up and transfer you to visit the Plain Of Jars Site 1, 2 & 3 , an extraordinary piece of local history. Hundreds of stone jars, of origin unknown, litter the countryside. You will also make time to take in the villages and old capital of MuangKhoun Province. This area is home to the fascinating Hmong hill tribe people. Then transfer you to airport for a flight to Vientiane. Arrive in Vientiane, the guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Free time.

After having breakfast at your hotel. The local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to visit Wat Sisaket with its thousands of statues of the Buddha. The official count is 6840. The Emerald Buddha, now found in Bangkok’s Wat Prakeow, used to be housed in Wat Prakeo and it is here along with Wat Simuang that we will visit next.
The wonderful Golden stupa of That Luang is your next port of call. From there you will go to see The Triumphal Arch of Patuxai, constructed from concrete that was originally intended for the airport. It is known locally as The Vertical Runway. After that, bring you back to your hotel. Free time in evening

You will take early morning flight to Pakse. Arrive in Pakse, the local guide will pick you up and transfer to Saravanh Province via Tateng. The scenery is superb as we travel towards the Tad Fan waterfall. Local farmers grow coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas and many other crops. Time will be made for you to wander off the beaten track to discover this lushly vegetated area. This part of your Laos vacation will give you a glimpse of the way of life on the Boloven Plateau. Upon arrival at the waterfall we will visit the nearby villages of Alak, Nge and Katu. The day is completed by arrival and check in at your hotel. Free time in evening.

After breakfast at your hotel, the guide will pick you up and transfer you the Khong Island region. Here you will visit the dramatic pre-Angkorian ruins of WatPhu. You will explore the hilltop ruins of what is yet another Unesco World Heritage site. The spectacular Khmer ruins date back to the 9th century. You will continue on your road journey into the 4,000 islands region and then catch the ferry to the island itself.

Today you will take a boat and travelling to the Don Khone area. On the way, you will see the Liphi waterfall or “The Corridor Of The Devil”. Returning to the mainland we will visit the fishing village of Ban Nakasang before heading out to see KhonePhapheng, the biggest waterfall in Southeast Asia. This spectacular waterfall, close to the border with Cambodia, is surrounded by lush vegetation and incredible wildlife. Then return to Pakse in the afternoon where you may relax and retire for the evening.
