Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing immigration and customs, meet with your guide with a welcome signboard marked “The Time Journeys’s LOGO & your name”. Then your tour guide will transfer to your hotel in centre. The rest of the day, you will take a short sightseeing trip of Vientiane, taking in some of the local favourites. The Religious Museum housed in the temple at WatSisaket, predates the Siamese war of 1828. It features the famous cloister, the wall of which features 6,840 ceramic and silver statues of the Buddha. Wat Ho Prakeo is the former home of the Emerald Buddha but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues and antiquities. Pha That Luang, The Great Stupa, is a symbol of the Laos Nation. It is the single most important monument in the country. It was built to cover an original small Stupa which holds a section of the breastbone of Buddha. Patouxy (The Triumphal Arch) was built between 1957 and 1968 and commemorates the dead of past conflicts. It has become one of the most famous landmarks of the city of Vientiane. Then returns to your hotel to relax.

Breakfast at your hotel and then free time for visiting around until pick you up and transfer to airport for a flight to Xiengkhouang. Arrive in Xiengkhouang, the guide pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Free time for relaxing.

After your breakfast, the guide will pick you up and transfer you to visit Phonsavanh Market . Then you will visit the Plain of Jars. This has been nominated as a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the most bombed site per head of capita in the world. It is where the US armed forces jettisoned unused ordinance after bombing raids. We will also visit the old capital of MuangKhoun Province and the nearby villages. These are home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people.

Today, we head out to Luang Prabang (270Km – 6/7 hours drive) On the way we will visit the 200 year old Buddha images in Thampra and the different hill tribe villages along the route. Then you will travel through the glorious mountain and forest scenery and then we will arrive at Sala Phou-khoun. Here we will take a short coffee break. The journey then takes us over mountainous regions to Luang Prabang. The tranquillity and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After checking into your hotel, [if time permits] you will visit the impressive stupa of WatVisoun , the shrine of WatAham and Wat Mai. From there, we explore the Street Night Bazaar. Here you will find many souvenirs and superb textiles. These are handmade by local and hill tribe people from the surrounding areas.

After breakfast drive out of town 30KM to the beautiful Kuang Sii Fall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Then transfer for cruising upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving.

After breakfast, the guide pick you up and bring you for visiting National museum. You will visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; visit Wat Xieng Thong, then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
